Modern cars replace some/all of the conventional wiring with a computerised system called CAN Bus. The MK6 Odometer can not connect into CAN Bus. |

Wire the odometer directly to the battery. If it is wired to a hall effect signal then ensure the Odometer is set to Hall (press CAL then press 6). |

When looking at the back of the dashboard, there are two large connectors (about 20pins each). The left hand connector has a blue and a blue/white wire coming from a sensor in the gearbox. The odometer signal can be taken from the blue wire. Set the Odometer to generator. |

In the dashboard, behind the instrument cluster, find the only Pink with Blue trace wire.Connect this to the signal input of the Odometer.This is likely to work on other Hulix's but there is no guarantee. |
